Grok CLI 1.1.7 (superagent-ai/grok-cli) asks a plain question before a key: "Grok has not been run in <folder> before.", "Sandbox mode is only available on macOS Apple Silicon in this version.", "Run grok directly on the host for this directory?" with "[Y] Yes, remember host mode" and "[s] Yes, this session only", and "Choice [Y/s]:". There is no input box. ubuntu-22.04 and ubuntu-26.04 gave the same screen, except the random part of the folder. On macos-15 and macos-26 (arm64) the question is "Run grok in sandbox mode for this directory?" with "[Y] Yes, always in sandbox", "[n] No, run on host" and "[s] Yes, this session only". The screen is the capture 20 s after the start, with no key sent, by scenarios/first-run.sh in the scenarios workflow run 41151440753 on the CI runner ubuntu-24.04 (x64), with a throwaway HOME, no login and no key.
